Hi Keef
Time prevents us replying too much on the website but to our knowledge there are no more Wolseley versions left but we thought that before the one shown was raced and as you know, who knows what is hidden away!! That Humber on ebay recently was a new one to both us & the original founder of the club(and who is hot on his Humbers)it was sold off of ebay to a racer.

Re: The Classic Hearse Register
Do you mean the 1940s one that was really rotten? That looks like it will take a serious amount of work to even get it on the track.

Hi Lee
yep that's the one. The owner contacted us about a month ago but we could not find any takers especially for the £500 he wanted but you are right it was hanging & very incomplete and really only fit for racing, something to look out for next year no doubt!! A full feature will be in the club mag in April.

Re: The Classic Hearse Register
Hi Paranoid. As you know, we have several racers (still racing or ex racers) in the club but no, we dont have anyone specific, only the guys at Banger Madness who help us out with certain pics & info.
We don't get involved too much with whats said & what may or may not be coming out. Whilst yes we have members who are anti racing, we ourselves are not, Sandra having raced herself many moons ago!If we can save something then thats good but if not....most of what appears goes onto ebay where its free game for anyone! We already have 9 vehicles so do not have anymore room or cash to buy some more. Reminds us, we have pics of your past tin that we must use in the club mag but have you got pics of the original hearses before stripped?

Re: The Classic Hearse Register
Hi Paranoid. The Humber was definatly Coleman Milne and unusual because it had the full 4 door 'estate look'.Can you write to us via the club email with a brief bit of info on yourself? mainly when, how or what made you want to race and then we can feature you in TMN as we are off banger season now.

Re: The Classic Hearse Register
Hi Lee. If you do find one then let us know, to our knowledge we have the only two standard remaining Coleman Milne SWBs left( the other is the bagged custom one) & the only known Woodall version is also in the club..but if you want a German version then you are laughing.
